Husker Men’s Hoops Wins 15th Straight Home Game
Juwan Gary scored 19 points to pace three Huskers in double figures, as Nebraska topped Fairleigh Dickinson 86-60 last night.
NU got 29 points from its bench, including eight apiece from Gavin Griffiths and Ahron Ulis. In recording its 15th consecutive win at Pinnacle Bank Arena, the Huskers turned 17 Knights turnovers into 28 points. Nebraska held FDU to 60 points, nearly 25 below its season average.
NU is 3-0 and will travel to Sioux Falls, South Dakota on Sunday for a Noon game against St. Mary’s at the Sanford Pentagon.
Meanwhile, Quentin Rhymes has signed with Nebraska’s program for next season. The 6-foot-7 wing from Las Vegas is rated as a four-star prospect by 247Sports.
