Husker Men’s Hoops Suffers First Loss of Season

The Nebraska men’s basketball team had a 27-20 lead at halftime, but St. John’s rallied for a 70-50 victory last night in the Gavitt Tipoff games. 

The home club held the Huskers to 29.7 percent shooting from the field.  NU also committed 17 turnovers leading to 21 Red Storm points.  Keisei Tominaga came off Nebraska’s bench to score a team-high 15 points. 

The Huskers will take a 2-1 record into a home game Sunday against Arkansas-Pine Bluff.
