Hopefully, it can only get easier after the Nebraska football team’s season opener.

In the third version of a 2020 Big Ten football schedule released on Saturday, the Huskers open by visiting Ohio State on Saturday, October 24th for an 11 a.m. game.

It doesn’t get much easier the following week, when NU hosts Big Ten West champ Wisconsin.  Television information and other kickoff times will be announced later, as well as any Friday or “special date games.”

Besides Wisconsin, Nebraska’s other home games are against Penn State, Illinois and Minnesota.  Aside from the trip to Ohio State, the Huskers visit Northwestern, Iowa and Purdue.

The Big Ten will hold its championship game on December 19th, when all the league’s teams who don’t win their division will play against the club that finishes in the same place in the opposite division.
