Husker Football Nabs Four-Star DL Recruit, Van Poppel

Nebraska’s football team has received a commitment from a four-star defensive lineman.
Riley Van Poppel from Argyle, Texas yesterday became the eighth member of the Huskers’ 2023 recruiting class. Van Poppel is 6-4, 270 pounds and is ranked as the 372nd best player in the nation by 247Sports.
He is the son of former major league pitcher Todd Van Poppel.
