Husker Football Has Bye Week After Another Tough Loss

Following another close loss to a ranked opponent, Nebraska’s football team will enjoy a bye week.

The Huskers slipped to 3-7 overall and 1-6 in the Big Ten following a 26-17 loss to Ohio State Saturday in Lincoln.  The NU defense held the Buckeyes to their lowest point total of the season.  JoJo Domann had an interception, two pass breakups and nine tackles, but due to a reported hand injury may have played his final game for the Big Red.

Adrian Martinez also battled through a broken jaw and an ankle sprain to post 299 yards of total offense.  He eclipsed 3,000 total yards this season and 10,000 for his career to move into second place in Nebraska history.

The Huskers will visit Wisconsin a week from Saturday.
