Husker Football Fall Camp Opens Today

The Nebraska football team kicks off its preseason practices today, a day after holding Fan Day.
This year’s event was held yesterday inside the Hawks Championship Center and it drew hundreds of Husker fans.
Meanwhile, NU begins fall camp with a new tight ends coach. Josh Martin was elevated to the position on Friday following the resignation of Bob Wager who received citations for DUI and other offenses last week.
Head coach Matt Rhule’s first season in Lincoln will kick off one month from today with a rare Thursday night game at Minnesota.
