Howells-Dodge has been named by the Omaha World-Herald as winner of its Class D All-Sports Award.
It’s the first time the Jaguars earned the title since 2013, the first year of the school’s merger. In the newspaper’s point-system rating, Howells-Dodge was third in boys sports and sixth in girls sports.
Overall, the Jags compiled 62.25 points compared to 59.75 points for second-place North Platte St. Patrick’s, which was the boys champ. Shelton had 54 points to finish third overall, with the Bulldogs winning the girls title.
