Hoops Season Ends for Creighton Men, NU Women

Creighton’s men suffered a hard-fought 79-72 loss to top-seeded and third-ranked Kansas on Saturday in the second round of the NCAA tournament. 

Freshman Arthur Kaluma posted his first career double-double with 24 points and 12 rebounds.  The Bluejays wound up with a 23-12 record. 

Nebraska exited the women’s tourney last Friday, following a 68-55 loss to Gonzaga.  The Huskers finished 24-9.
