Hoiberg Gets Contract Extension, Raise From Nebraska

Nebraska has announced a contract extension for Big Ten men’s basketball coach of the year Fred Hoiberg. 

He received a two-year extension through the 2028-29 season and a $750,000 raise to $4.25 million beginning April 1.  Hoiberg led the Huskers to their first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2014. 

Interim athletic director Dennis Leblanc and NU’s interim president Chris Kabourek also confirmed that discussions are underway with women’s basketball coach Amy Williams on a contract extension.
