Hitchcock Confident His Team Will Play This Week

In prep basketball on Saturday, the Columbus High boys weren’t able to play their home game against Lincoln High due to a COVID-19 issue.

On Saturday’s Pinnacle Bank Coaches Show on KLIR 101, coach Jordan Hitchcock said the postponement was precautionary and he is confident the Discoverers will be able to play their next scheduled game this Friday at home against Lincoln East.

The Columbus girls fell to the Links 76-36.  The loss dropped CHS to 2-8 on the season.  The Discoverers girls will visit Lincoln East on Friday.

Meantime, the Scotus girls dropped a 51-43 decision at Bishop Neumann.  The Shamrocks are now 6-6.

Both Scotus teams will host Norfolk Catholic tomorrow night in games that will be broadcast on KLIR.
