History on NU Football’s Side This Saturday
History seems to be on the side of the Huskers this Saturday, when Nebraska football visits Michigan State. NU leads the all-time series 9-2 and has a 2-1 mark in East Lansing.
The Huskers have won the past two matchups against the Spartans. The last meeting came in 2018 and featured five field goals, with Nebraska posting a 9-6 win in Lincoln. The Huskers’ 39-38 win over number-6 Michigan State in 2015 marked just the third time in school history an unranked Nebraska team defeated a top-10 opponent.
Saturday’s kickoff is set for 6 p.m. and the action will be broadcast on News Talk 900 KJSK and 93.5 The Hawk.
