Final Results of Class C & D Boys State Golf Tourneys

In the Class C boys state golf tourney at Elks Country Club, Samuel Wells of St. Paul shot a 76 Wednesday to finish at 16-over and in a tie for eighth place. 

Aquinas Catholic’s Jaylin Jakub wound up the two-day event at 17-over and tied for 11th.  Central City’s Ayden Zikmund cut two strokes off his first round score and ended up at plus-32 and tied for 38th.  Jacob Wright had North Bend Central’s best finish at 42nd.  The Tigers were 13th, one spot ahead of St. Paul in the 15-team field. 

Jaden Kosch of Humphrey St. Francis fired a final round 75 at Lake Maloney Golf Club in North Platte to finish at 13-over and in sixth place in the Class D tourney.  Kellen Fiala of Howells-Dodge finished 24-over and tied for 19th.  St. Francis took fourth in the 15-team field at 348, 29 strokes behind champion Pender.
