Columbus High’s boys wrestling team won the Bellevue West Invite last Friday. 

The Discoverers topped the eight-team field with 198 points, finishing 58.5 points ahead of second-place Papillion-La Vista South.  Adrian Bice was the Discoverers’ top individual scorer with 24 points as he pinned all four of his opponents. 

Meanwhile, the Scotus boys finished fifth out of six teams at Friday’s Raymond Central Duals.  The Shamrocks went 1-4 with their lone victory coming against Weeping Water, 54-24. 

In girls wrestling, Schuyler finished first and Lakeview was third at the Crete Invite on Saturday.  The Warriors topped the 15-team field with 132 points, while the Vikings tallied 90.  Lakeview’s Lacy Lemburg won gold at 114 pounds by pinning all three of her opponents.
