High School Volleyball Weekend Roundup

In prep volleyball, Lakeview went 3-0 at the Boone Central Invite.  The Vikings won 2-0 against both Central City and Crofton and beat Oakland-Craig 2-1.  Lakeview is 7-2 on the year.  

Columbus High won five of its six matches at the Bellevue East Invite.  On Friday, the Discoverers defeated Syracuse, Omaha Central and Omaha Buena all by 2-0 scores.  CHS lost to Millard South 2-1 on Saturday, but posted a pair of 2-0 wins over Lincoln High and Bellevue West.  The Discoverers are 8-5 on the season.  

Scotus, which had won two matches last Thursday at the Malcolm Invite, finished the tourney by going 1-2 on Saturday.  The Shamrocks beat Louisville 2-0, but were swept by both Lincoln Lutheran and Elmwood-Murdock.  The ‘Rocks are now 9-5.
