High School Soccer Results From the Weekend

In prep soccer on Saturday, the Lakeview boys and girls both fell to Waverly by a score of 3-0 at Wilderness Park. 

The losses marked the fourth consecutive shutout defeats to open the season for both Vikings clubs.  Lakeview soccer will host Schuyler tomorrow. 

In Friday’s action, Columbus High’s squads both won at Fremont.  The Discoverers girls edged the Tigers 1-0 to improve to 5-0, while the CHS boys moved to 4-0 following a 3-0 win.  The Columbus girls will host Kearney tomorrow and the boys will entertain Lincoln Southwest on Thursday. 

The Scotus girls fell at Elkhorn 2-1 on Friday, slipping to 1-2 on the season.  The Shamrocks visit Omaha Concordia today.
