Columbus High split its home basketball games against Lincoln North Star on Saturday.
In boys action, the Discoverers fell to the Navigators 66-31. Jordyn Trotta scored 15 points and Ellie Thompson had 11 to lead the CHS girls to a 36-19 win. Both Columbus teams will visit Lincoln Southeast on Thursday.
Lakeview dropped both games at York on Saturday. The Vikings boys were edged by the Dukes 58-55, while the girls lost 61-32. Next up for Lakeview’s squads are home games against rival Scotus. Tuesday’s girls tipoff is set for 8 p.m., while the boys contest is Saturday at 7 p.m. Both games will be broadcast on KLIR 101.
The Scotus boys are coming off a 65-43 home loss to Kearney Catholic on Saturday and will visit Wahoo tomorrow. The Shamrocks girls head into tomorrow night’s tilt at Lakeview after a 34-32 victory over the Stars.
