High School Football Playoffs Resume Friday

The next round of the prep football playoffs in Nebraska for all classes is this Friday. 

In Class A, Columbus High will visit Lincoln Southeast at Seacrest Field in a game that will be broadcast on KLIR 101.  Kickoff is slated for 8:15 p.m.  The Discoverers posted their first playoff win in a decade last Friday, beating Papillion-La Vista 31-14. 

Aquinas Catholic visits Norfolk Catholic in a Class C2 first round playoff game to be aired on 93.5 The Hawk, with kickoff at 7 p.m.   

On KZ-100, it’s a 6 p.m. kickoff for Osceola at Humphrey St. Francis in a second-round contest in D2. 

D1 matchups involving area teams have Cross County visiting Cambridge, Nebraska Christian traveling to Elm Creek and Howells-Dodge hosting Burwell.
