Herbie Husker Going Back to His Roots

Herbie Husker has gone back to his roots with a makeover unveiled yesterday.
The mascot’s costume and logo closely resembles the original version that debuted 50 years ago. Herbie is back to being blond and is wearing overalls again. He replaces a brown-haired Herbie that has represented the Huskers since 2003.
The updated mascot will make his first public appearance at Saturday’s Red-White Spring Game.
