Hausmann Sets Career High in Tackles For Second Straight Week

For a second straight week, the play of Nebraska freshman linebacker Ernest Hausmann was a silver lining in a Husker loss.

The Columbus High graduate had 12 tackles in Saturday’s 15-14 loss to Wisconsin.  That bettered Hausmann’s career high of 10 tackles last week against Michigan.

Trey Palmer had two TD catches to help Nebraska go up 14-3 late in the third quarter, before the Badgers rallied for the final two touchdowns.  The Huskers’ fifth straight loss leaves them at 3-8 overall and 2-6 in the Big Ten.

Nebraska visits Iowa in the season finale Friday at 3 p.m.  The pregame starts at 11 a.m. on News Talk 900 KJSK.  It will be joined at 2:30 on 93.5 The Hawk.
