Haiby Gets Weekly Recognition From Website

Nebraska’s Sam Haiby was named the College Sports Madness Big Ten Conference Women’s Basketball Player of the Week. 

Haiby led the Huskers to a pair of wins over Northwestern and Rutgers last week. 

The junior guard made a highlight-reel, circus shot as time expired to lift NU to a 65-63 win over the 15th-ranked Wildcats at Pinnacle Bank Arena last Thursday. 

That 19-point effort was followed by a 16-point total in Nebraska’s 53-50 victory over Rutgers on Sunday.
