GRC Boys Semifinals Set, Other Area Scores Monday
The semifinals are set for the Goldenrod Conference boys basketball tournament.
In last night’s quarterfinals, Humphrey St. Francis routed Elba 78-19, Fullerton topped Central Valley 68-56, Nebraska Christian downed St. Edward 64-37 and Riverside beat Burwell 64-45.
The semifinals are scheduled for Thursday at Central Valley High in Greeley and will be aired on 93.5 The Hawk. St. Francis will meet Fullerton at 6 p.m. followed by Nebraska Christian against Riverside. The GRC girls tourney quarterfinals are slated for tonight.
In other area boys basketball action last night, Boone Central romped over St. Paul 68-22, Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family bombed Stanton 80-46, and Madison was edged by Winside 42-41. In girls hoops, Boone Central beat St. Paul 49-31, H/LHF defeated Stanton 66-56 and Madison fell to Winside 40-36.
