The Nebraska football team added another walk-on commit for next season.  And for the second straight night, it was the son of a former Husker.

Running back and safety Grant Lohr of Jenks, Oklahoma made his pledge to NU via Twitter on the eve of national signing day.

Lohr helped his high school team to a state championship in 2020 by compiling over 1,600 total yards on offense and 25 touchdowns. On defense, he had 44 tackles, five sacks and three interceptions, returning one for a touchdown.

His father, Jason Lohr played nose tackle for Nebraska from 1998 through 2003.

Grant Lohr’s announcement to walk-on came one night after Michael Booker III made the same commitment.
