Good Night For Discoverers, Vikings Softball Clubs

It was a good night for city prep softball teams on Tuesday.
Columbus High cruised to a 13-3 victory at Omaha Central. The win evened the Discoverers’ record at 9-9. CHS will host Kearney in a doubleheader tomorrow.
Meanwhile, Lakeview posted two hard-fought wins in David City. The Vikings scored eight runs over the final three innings to rally past Aquinas 8-6. Lakeview scored three times in the bottom of the seventh to claim a walkoff 9-8 win over Blue River. The Lady Vikes will take an 8-4 record to Schuyler on Thursday.
