Golf: Lasso Takes Sixth at Norfolk, Scotus Sets Record

In girls golf, Columbus High’s Sarah Lasso fired an 82 at Norfolk Country Club yesterday to finish in sixth place at the Norfolk Invite. As a team, the Discoverers earned ninth out of 15 teams.
Meanwhile, the Scotus girls golf team set its 9-hole record at Quail Run yesterday to win a triangular hosted by Lakeview. Scotus shot 164 to break its old record of 175.
Boone Central was second at 191, 13 strokes better than the Vikings. Alaina Dierman led the Shamrocks and won a medal with a 39.
