Girls Tennis, Boys Golf Teams’ Opening Day Results

The Columbus High girls tennis team opened its season yesterday with a 9-0 victory over Lincoln Northwest.
The Discoverers went 6-0 in singles and 3-0 in doubles at the Pawnee Park tennis courts.
Meanwhile, the CHS boys golf club took fourth out of six teams competing in the Lincoln High invite at Highlands Golf Course. Columbus had a team score of 369, while Gretna topped the standings at 301.
Keaton Barnes and Tyson Weber both shot an 86 and tied for the Discoverers low individual score.
