Boone Central’s Abbigail Brodersen finished as the runner-up, while MaKenzie Enderlin of Scotus earned a medal in the Class C girls state golf tournament. 

In yesterday’s second and final round at Lake Maloney Golf Club in North Platte, Brodersen shot a 10-over, 82 to finish 16-over for the tourney. That was four strokes behind champion Lynzi Becker of Cozad. 

Enderlin shot a 90 for the second straight day to finish at 36-over and in 14th place. In the team standings, the Shamrocks carded an 813 to finish 10th out of 15 clubs. Lincoln Lutheran won the team title. 

In the Class A tournament at Norfolk Country Club, Columbus High’s Jacey Hughes shot a 22-over, 94 yesterday to finish at plus-39 and in 27th place. Her Discoverers teammate Ashley Warner carded a 20-over 92 yesterday to finish at 46 over par, which tied for 35th.  Kaitlyn Hanna of Westside won the individual title, while Lincoln Southwest took the team crown.

Danica Badura of Aurora won the Class B tourney at Elks Country Club. She fired a 1-over 73 yesterday to finish at plus-1. Scottsbluff finished first in the team standings.
