Girls Golf Takes Fifth, Lasso Earns 11th at HAC Tourney

The Columbus High girls’ golf team finished in the middle of the pack and Sarah Lasso earned a medal at yesterday’s Heartland Athletic Conference tournament.
The Discoverers carded a team score of 389 at Norfolk Country Club to finish fifth out of ten teams. Lasso shot a 91 to place 11th in the individual standings.
Lincoln East won the team title with a 355, one stroke better than Lincoln Pius X. Nicole Kolbas of Pius earned the individual title by firing a 77.
