Girls Golf: CHS Ninth at Pius, Scotus Wins Triangular
In high school girls golf, Columbus High finished ninth out of 13 clubs competing in yesterday’s Lincoln Pius X Shoot-Out.
As a team, the Discoverers carded a score of 378 at Woodland Hills. Jacey Hughes shot an 81 to finish one stroke shy of earning a medal.
Meantime, Scotus won a triangular at Fullerton. The Shamrocks had a team score of 194 at Pawnee Hills, while the host Warriors carded a 233, three strokes better than Lakeview. Cecilia Arndt led the Shamrocks and earned a medal with a 42.
