Ian Gibbs drove in six runs to lead the Bank of the Valley Lakeview Seniors to a 13-1 romp on the road last night.  All three of Gibbs’ hits in the win over Wisner/Pilger Howells/Dodge went for extra bases – a double and two triples.

Caden Pelan had two hits and two RBI during Lakeview’s victory at Dodge.  Leadoff hitter Cameron Drozd added two hits and an RBI and was one of six different Lakeview players to score two runs.

Lakeview’s Seniors have scored 37 runs in winning their last three games to improve to 3-2.

In the early game at Dodge, the Owens Wealth Advisors Lakeview Junior Reds stayed unbeaten at 4-0 with a 9-1 victory.

Cooper Tessendorf stroked a pair of doubles and drove in two runs.  He started for the Junior Reds and pitched 3.2 scoreless innings, giving up one hit and a walk, striking out five.  Cleanup hitter Eli Osten tripled and homered and got two outs on the mound.

The home club scored its run in the bottom of the seventh to avert a shutout.

In their four games, Junior Reds pitchers have allowed just six runs.

Both Lakeview teams visit Arlington tomorrow for games that were originally scheduled for Thursday.
