Garrett Nelson to Declare For the NFL Draft

Nebraska edge rusher Garrett Nelson is declaring for the NFL draft.
Nelson, who could have returned to Lincoln for a fifth season, announced his decision on Twitter.
He’s the most productive defensive player on the 2022 team to leave since Matt Rhule was named the Huskers coach a month ago. Nelson finished the season with 65 tackles. He also had 5-and-a-half sacks and nine tackles for loss.
The Scottsbluff native was voted to the Associated Press All-Big Ten second team.
