Frost Wants to See Consistency From QB’s on Saturday

Nebraska football coach Scott Frost said he didn’t think the Huskers offense had a great day in practice yesterday, saying “we just need to execute a little bit better.”

Frost, who said NU is nowhere near making an announcement on a starting quarterback for next season, was asked what he wants to see from the QB’s during this Saturday’s spring game.  “Consistency,” he said. “We are doing some really good things at times.  In this league you are not going to score a lot unless you can be consistent and sustain some drives and create some big plays along the way.”

Frost said Nebraska coaches and trainers still need to decide on the spring game’s format.  But, he added it will probably be offense vs. defense rather than two teams playing each other due to several players battling injuries.  You can hear Saturday’s game on News Talk 900 KJSK and 93.5 The Hawk.  Kickoff is set for 1 p.m.
