Frost Wants to Decide on Starters Earlier in Fall Camp

The Nebraska football team opened its fall camp yesterday.  Coach Scott Frost said he wants to make decisions, “at least in-house,” on starters for spots up for grabs earlier than in past years.

Asked why, Frost said the primary emphasis of the camp will be on penalties, turnovers on both sides of the football and special teams.  He said the Huskers being more experienced will help with those details, “but also continuity helps and making sure that the main guys are working with the main guys a little more often earlier on is probably going to help us with that.”

The Huskers will kick off the season on Saturday, August 28th at Illinois.
