Nebraska football coach Scott Frost says the Huskers have had as many practices for having played only one game as any team in the history of college football.

In a Zoom media session yesterday, Frost also said his team is ready to play a game.  The 0-1 Huskers get that chance Saturday at Northwestern.

The Wildcats are 2-0 after wins over Maryland and Iowa.  Frost said to this point, he’s seen more film of Northwestern on defense than on offense.  “They kind of whipped us on that side of the ball last year and they look the same or better this year,” Frost said.  “They’re always going to be a smart, physical team on both sides of the ball.”

Kickoff on Saturday is set for 11 a.m.  The pre-game starts at 6 on News Talk 900 KJSK.  It will be joined at 10:30 on 93.5 The Hawk.

The Big Ten has announced that the Huskers’ home game on November 14th against Penn State will kick off at 11 a.m.
