Frost Praises Defense, Talks About Deep Shots vs. Buffalo

Nebraska football coach Scott Frost simply said his team has a tough defense after that unit’s impressive play in the Huskers’ 28-3 win over Buffalo on Saturday.

As far as NU’s offense, Frost was asked about the big plays that quarterback Adrian Martinez made with his legs and his arm – in particular two 68-yard touchdown passes to Samori Toure.  “We’ve got to do more of that,” Frost said.  “And that’s going to help back people (defenders) off.  But, we also need to be able to run it better to open those things up.”

Nebraska is now 2-1 and will play a much-anticipated game at Oklahoma this Saturday.  Kickoff is set for 11 a.m.  The pregame begins at 7 on News Talk 900 KJSK.  It will be joined at 10:30 on 93.5 The Hawk.
