Nebraska’s football team plays at home for a second straight week.  The Huskers, coming off a 30-23 win over Penn State, host Illinois this Saturday.

Following their first win of the season last Saturday, coach Scott Frost was asked about NU’s defense making stops on two fourth quarter drives by the Nittany Lions.

Frost said Nebraska “needed to turn the page” on being in close games and not finding a way to get it done.  “I think everybody in Nebraska can see the progress the defense has made,” Frost said.

Saturday’s kickoff for the Huskers game against the Fighting Illini is set for 11 a.m.  The pre-game starts at 6 on News Talk 900 KJSK and will be joined at 10:30 on 93.5 The Hawk.
