Nebraska football coach Scott Frost was a guest last night on Sports Nightly, aired on News Talk 900 KJSK. Asked how he thought spring practice went this year, Frost said it went well, but added “we have a long way to go.”
“We lost some key pieces from last year,” Frost said. “I think we have a lot of good talent…think we made a lot of improvements in some fundamental areas that are going to make us a better football team. But, we also have some catching up to do.”
After finals, Nebraska players will only have about two weeks off before summer conditioning begins. The Huskers have a Week Zero game on August 27th when they travel to Dublin, Ireland to play Northwestern.
