After seeing his team commit five turnovers in a 41-23 home loss to Illinois on Saturday, Nebraska football coach Scott Frost said he was embarrassed.

“I was embarrassed by our lack of execution in all three phases,” Frost said. “I didn’t think we had the juice we had last week.”

Quarterback Luke McCaffrey, who had three of his passes intercepted, added the Huskers needed to bring more energy to practice last week, starting with himself.

NU will have a short week of practice this week to get ready for the annual Black Friday game at Iowa.  Kickoff is set for noon.  The pre-game starts at 7 a.m. on News Talk 900 KJSK and will be joined at 11:30 a.m. on 93.5 The Hawk.
