Frost Calls Taking Restructured Deal an “Easy Decision”

Nebraska football coach Scott Frost said today it was an easy decision for him to accept a restructured contract to return to the Huskers next season.

Following today’s practice, Frost told reporters: “It would break my heart to think we have made the improvements we have had and gotten so close in so many games and not get an opportunity to see it through.”

Frost and NU parted ways with offensive coordinator Matt Lubick and three offensive assistants this week.  Frost called them “really good coaches and even better men,” adding he “could not care about those guys any more” and that a lot of players feel the same way.

Following a bye this week, the Huskers visit Wisconsin on November 20th.
