Freshman QB Raiola Credits Teammates For Spring Game
Nebraska quarterbacks Dylan Raiola and Heinrich Haarberg were both impressive in Saturday’s Spring Game.
A crowd of 60,452 fans watched the White beat the Red 25-21 at Memorial Stadium. Raiola threw for 239 yards and two touchdowns, while Haarberg had 163 yards and two more scores.
Raiola admitted he was emotional during the tunnel walk. The freshman was asked how he looked so comfortable during the game. “Yeah, I have great coaches that prepared me for this,” Raiola said. “I was just getting the ball to my playmakers and they made me look good honestly. O-line blocked up great, running backs ran hard and receivers made plays.”
Receiver Jaylen Lloyd caught a 64-yard strike from Raiola for the biggest play of the day.
