Frenzen is World-Herald’s 2022 Boys Coach of the Year

Lakeview head football coach Kurt Frenzen was named Saturday by the Omaha World-Herald as its 2022 boys coach of the year.
He is the 72nd boys coach to earn the honor and the first from Lakeview. Frenzen led Lakeview to its first state football title last fall.
The newspaper’s story recalls that the Vikings were 1-2 after their first three games, before winning their final 10 games including a 37-25 victory over Pierce in the C-1 state final.
