Free Drive-Up Mobile Pantry Held In Columbus

COLUMBUS- Food Bank for the Heartland is partnering with Cristo Para Las Naciones to host a free drive-up mobile pantry to assist individuals and families in Platte County and the surrounding communities.

Community packs will be available, which are 28-pound prepackaged boxes filled with various nonperishable staple items. The packs are assembled by Food Bank volunteers. Fresh produce and bakery items will also be offered. A drive-up distribution method is being used to prioritize the health and safety of the community during the pandemic.

The pantry will be open Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Cristo Para Las Naciones in Columbus.
