Four-Star LB Recruit Flips to Nebraska from Alabama

Dawson Merritt, a four-star linebacker from Kansas, flipped his commitment from Alabama to Nebraska on Thursday.
Merritt, who’s from Stilwell, Kansas, is rated as the No. 4 player in the state and 116th best prospect in the country. The 6-foot-3, 215-pounder brings NU’s 2025 recruiting class up to 20 members.
Merritt’s father is an assistant coach for the Kansas City Chiefs.
