Four-Star D-Lineman From Texas Commits to Nebraska

A four-star defensive lineman from Texas has committed to Nebraska.

On Sunday, Malcolm Simpson of Hitchcock High in Galveston announced on social media he’s joining the Huskers 2025 recruiting class.  The 6-foot-3, 235-pounder is the 11th member of the class and the second defensive lineman.

Simpson, who announced his pledge to NU immediately after his official visit to Lincoln, is the No. 293 overall prospect in the 2025 class, according to the On3 Industry ranking.  He ranks as the nation’s 23rd-best D-lineman.
