Four Prep Football Playoff Games On the Air Today

Four high school football playoff games – three involving city teams – will be aired on Alpha Media radio stations today. 

Osceola hosts Leyton in a Class D2 second round contest at 3 p.m. on 93.5 The Hawk.  The other three games all have 7 p.m. kickoffs.  In the opening round of the Class A playoffs, Columbus High visits North Platte on KLIR 101.  In C1 first-round action, Lakeview is at Milford on KZ-100 and Scotus entertains Fort Calhoun on 93.5 The Hawk. 

Another C1 matchup has Boone Central hosting Wayne.  In C2, Aquinas welcomes Sutton to David City.  D1 action has Howells-Dodge taking on Laurel-Concord-Coleridge in Howells, Cross County at Weeping Water, Nebraska Christian at Dundy County Stratton, and Humphrey Lindsay/Holy Family at Burwell.  Area D2 matchups include Humphrey St. Francis hosting Blue Hill and Riverside welcoming Johnson-Brock to Cedar Rapids. 

The Hawk Scoreboard Show is tonight at 10:30 on 93.5 FM and the Pinnacle Bank Coaches Show airs tomorrow at 9 a.m. on KLIR.
