Four Area Teams in Girls State Basketball Tournament

The brackets for the girls state basketball tournament have been set.
North Bend Central is the No. 1 seed in Class C1. The Tigers will take on Yutan Wednesday at 9 a.m. The game will be played at the Devaney Center and aired on 93.5 The Hawk.
On Thursday, three area girls teams open play – Cross County and Clarkson/Leigh in C2 at the Devaney Center and Humphrey St. Francis in D2 at Pinnacle Bank Arena. The No. 8 seed Cougars meet top-seeded Crofton at 9 a.m., with the seventh-seeded Patriots taking on Pender at 1:30. Both of those games will be on The Hawk. The Flyers are seeded fifth and meet McCool Junction Thursday at 10:45 a.m. on KLIR 101.
