Former NU Pitcher Jelkin Drafted by Dodgers

Former Nebraska pitcher Jaxon Jelkin was selected Tuesday during the final day of the MLB Draft.
The Bellevue West graduate was picked by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 14th round.
As a sophomore last season, Jelkin had a 3.81 ERA in 14 starts for South Mountain Community College in Arizona. The right-hander pitched for the Huskers as a freshman in 2022, posting a 2.32 ERA in 11.2 innings.
