Former Nebraska bowler Gazmine Mason’s initiative earned national exposure yesterday when she was featured on Good Morning America.

Mason, a three-time All-American as a Husker, started Black Girls Can Bowl 2, a platform to create opportunities for women bowlers of color.  She talked about her experience on the pro tour with ABC’s Robin Roberts.

Mason helped NU to an NCAA title in 2015 and three runner-up finishes.  Nebraska coach Paul Klempa said yesterday it was very exciting to see Mason on national television adding that Nebraska is proud of her for promoting the sport of bowling.
