Former Lincoln East Star Joins Husker Men’s Hoops

Sam Griesel has joined the Nebraska men’s basketball program.
The 6-foot-6 guard from Lincoln has spent the previous four seasons at North Dakota State. He was a two-time All-Summit League performer, helping North Dakota State to a pair of league tournament titles and an NCAA Tournament appearance in 2019.
He starred for Lincoln East, earning Super-State Honors from the Lincoln Journal Star after leading the Spartans to the Class A state tourney in 2018.
