Former Husker Bowler is Top Seed in PWBA Tour Championship

Former Nebraska bowler Shannon Pluhowsky earned the top seed for today’s Professional Women’s Bowling Association tour championship. 

In Monday’s match play, Pluhowsky celebrated her 40th birthday by averaging a 257.3 in eight games, including her first 300 game as a pro.  She’s bidding to become the first bowler to win the tour championship in consecutive years. 

The stepladder finals are tonight at 6 p.m. and will be broadcast live on CBS Sports Network.  The winner will take home the $50,000 top prize and third major of the 2022 season.
