Football Players’ Parents Hire Lawyer in Fight for Fall Season
A group of Nebraska football parents is apparently not throwing in the towel on fall football.
Media reports say the parents have retained a lawyer who sent a letter to Big Ten Commissioner Kevin Warren yesterday. The letter, written by Norfolk attorney Michael Flood, demands “all documents relating to all ‘votes’ regarding whether to cancel, postpone or delay fall sports.”
The parents of 11 Husker players are asking for the information by next Monday and threaten to file a lawsuit if the conference doesn’t provide it.
On Wednesday, Warren said the Big Ten will not revisit its decision to postpone football until next spring.
